Realme 13 Pro+ Key Specifications, Design Tipped via TENAA Listing in China

Realme 13 Pro+ is expected to launch soon in India as well as global markets, alongside the Realme 13 Pro. Ahead of its debut, the smartphone is reported to have received TENAA certification by China's state telecommunications certification authority. Its listing not only reveals several specifications of the handset but also provides a glimpse at its real-world images, confirming key design elements. This development comes a week after Realme 13 Pro+ was reported to receive a certification by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Realme 13 Pro+ Specifications (Expected)

According to an Android Arena report, Realme 13 Pro+ was listed on the TENAA website along with its specifications. The smartphone is reported to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is tipped to be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, and will be available in four configurations. It may run on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14.

Images of the Realme 13 Pro+ shared on the website suggest it may have a large circular camera island on the back, housing a triple camera setup and an LED flash, similar to its predecessor. It would feature a curved display on the front. The smartphone is reported to be backed by a 5,050mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.

According to the official Realme website, it is dubbed as the “first professional AI camera phone” and carries a “Hyperimage+” branding embossed at the bottom of the camera island. However, no details about the camera system have been revealed and it is unclear what devices may become part of the Realme 13 Pro 5G series. Tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) suggests the smartphone may come with a Sony IMX882 3x periscope lens and a 50-megapixel primary sensor.

The FCC listing of the smartphone suggests it may carry the model number RMX3921. In terms of dimensions, Realme 13 Pro+ is speculated to measure 161.34 x 73.91 x 8.23mm and weigh 190g/187g (with battery).

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold May Support Improved Split-Screen Mode: Report

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is likely to launch with display upgrades over the Pixel Fold, Google's first-ever foldable smartphone, which was unveiled in May 2023. Reports from earlier this year suggested that the purported Pixel Fold 2 smartphone could launch with the moniker Pixel 9 Pro Fold and sport significantly bigger displays. A new report suggests that the rumoured foldable device may arrive with improvements to the split-screen mode. It is also expected to get upgraded resolutions over the existing model.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold display details (expected)

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is expected to support an upgraded split-screen mode, which will allow users to arrange apps on the left and right side of the inner display while the phone is in portrait mode, according to an Android Authority report. This is reportedly due to changes made in the Android 14 QPR2 code seen by the publication. Currently, apps can only be arranged vertically on top of one another.

The report also notes that the code does not explicitly mention that it is for the rumoured Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold. However, since the upcoming Pixel Fold successor is tipped to be the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, there is a probability that the code change will be reflected in the purported handset.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is expected to come with an inner display resolution of 2,076 x 2,152 pixels, the report added. If true, this is another improvement over the 1,840 x 2,208 pixels resolution of the Google Pixel Fold inner display.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold features (expected)

Earlier reports suggested that the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is likely to sport an 8.02-inch main display and a 6.29-inch cover screen. This is much larger than the existing 7.6-inch inner display and 5.8-inch outer screen of the Pixel Fold.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold could be powered by a Tensor G4 SoC, that has previously been tipped to support emergency satellite connectivity. The current Pixel Fold comes with a Tensor G2 chipset.

iOS 17.6 Developer Beta 2 Update for iPhone With ‘Catch Up’ Feature Rolls Out to Beta Testers

iOS 17.6 Developer Beta 2 update was rolled out by Apple to developers and beta testers on Monday. It builds upon the first developer beta which was rolled out last week, alongside the iOS 18 Developer Beta 2. While it does not offer many new features, the update is said to improve overall performance and enhance stability. It is expected to be the last major iOS 17 update, following the announcement of iOS 18 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024 on June 10 and its likely rollout later this year.

iOS 17.6 Developer Beta 2

Apple has rolled out a new Catch Up feature to the Apple TV app, with the latest iOS 17.6 beta (via 9to5Mac). With this, users can watch the top highlights and key moments of their favourite sports matches, if they were unable to watch from the beginning. Instead of watching the whole game from the beginning, it lets them jump right into the action-packed scenarios.

This feature was first announced in June as part of the MLS Season Pass and is now making its way to the Apple TV app with the iOS 17.6 Developer Beta 2 update. Beta testers can try out the feature before it rolls out to all users on the stable channel.

Alongside this feature, it brings fixes for several issues. As per Apple's release notes, it rectifies an issue which caused playback issues on Bluetooth headphones for audio output with specific AVAudioSession configurations.

When reinstalling an app from a marketplace, the home screen icon will not be disabled anymore. The update also fixes a notification failure which occurred when an app, installed from a marketplace with an expired license, failed to launch.

Alongside the iOS 17.6 Developer Beta 2 update, Apple also rolled out the second developer betas for iPadOS 17.6, watchOS 10.6, tvOS 17.6 and visionOS 1.3 to beta testers, and stable version are expected to be rolled out to users on the coming weeks.

How to Get the Update

iOS 17.6 Developer Beta 2 update can be downloaded by registering as a developer via the Apple Developer Program. Until last year, users had to pay a $99 (roughly Rs. 8,000) per year fee, but the program is now free for all users who sign up using their Apple ID.

Since Apple is running beta programs for both iOS 17 and iOS 18 simultaneously, users will need to select which operating system they wish to be on, when signing up to receive beta versions of Apple's operating systems.
